Future Transport Systems is leading a consortium of auto industry experts, regional development agencies and key private sector stakeholders in deploying 35 all electric vehicles across the North East region. This covers an initial 4 year pilot project, stimulating the market and leading public demand to drive electric.
Vehicles will be placed with hosts from across the region, representing all sectors of society. The different vehicles included in the project are ideally suited for specific applications, from electric taxis to families doing the school run, including company usage and integrating passenger vehicles into existing car club operations.
